For the 100 anniversary of Disney they realised Once Upon A Studio a love felt short combining over 500 of there most popular characters all in one short. It follows the characters on a journey to take a group photo as you can imagine 500 characters trying to take a photo with Opposite characteristics has its challenges.   It focuses still on the most infamous character Mickey Mouse and his friend Minnie Mouse but in a heartfelt homage to the founder of Disney Walt Disney Mickey find a picture of him and glances at it with a fondness and loving way, I feel it creates a sense of magic throughout the short creating a heartfelt and emotive story during the whole short.     It also combines different styles of animation which is such an unique contrast to other shorts/films they’ve produced in the past which gives it a feeling of togetherness even though the styles don't typically match each other. Bao is a Disney Pixar Short film depicting a mother watching there son growing so fast and her motherly ways slowly get dismissed as Bao grows into teenage hood and beyond. The mother visions her child as a Bao Bun an traditionally northern chinese treat which is where the whole short is set at. It’s clear start middle and end also helps the story flow naturally without a second spare I also feel that the expression of the Chinese culture throughout shows how it brings the family together at meal teams as something to lean on when in need of support or low.   Fundamentally the audio gives the whole short a magical sort of vibe which Pixar do best as they are incredible storytellers which is prominent throughout this short. By the end of the short the mother just wants to keep her son on side without having to let go. You can clearly see the hurt within her while the son grows up and slowly fades away from the nest in which she nurtured him within it.  One o...
